I have a very basic question. I am an NRI living in the US.
Is it possible to take a home loan in the US(from a US bank or institute) for a house/property in India?

We are looking to buy our first home this year and we are trying to learn about the different types of financing options available out there.

i have a home loan with two company’s and want to short sell but i dont know if its possible with two loans and if i foreclose can the second loan company come after me for any losses

I really dont see the end of this mortgage crisis. I am really woried that the next bubble to burst are the prime mortgage homes. Please give details as to why you think the way you say.

My husband and I both have bad credit. But, we are working on getting it takin care of. We finally found the perfect house right price and all. But, we can’t seem to find a company that will give us the loan. We have a co-signer with excellent credit. So I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and if they found a company to give them the loan. I have tried the yahoo search thing and that didn’t work..

These people made false statements on their applications, and some unscrupulous lenders aided these home buyers.
What is the demographic on these people?

We are currently building and were told by our soon to be neighbor that the neighbors (on the other side), who were supposed to close this week, their loan feel through. Of course this has me worried that something could happen to us as well. What all could happen to the loan in between the preapproval process and closing that could make it fall through?
